Our Mission

The mission of the Douglas Historical Society Inc. is:  To promote research and education about the history of Douglas, Massachusetts; acquire protect, and preserve property, both real and personal, having historical significance.  To preserve and maintain the E.N. Jenckes Store Museum for purposes of depicting a general store and life in rural community during the 19th century.
